Georgie’s story - Her favorite toy is in her hand as she trudges down to the water. I’m so glad we were able to find this sand claw thing she saw on a commercial and just had to have. It’s made in like Australia or something, but she just had to have the one shaped like a whale. Three stores this morning on what is supposed to be my ‘break from the hustle and bustle,’ at least so says my wife.
As Georgie makes it to the water’s edge and plops down with her whale toy, I begin to understand what my wife is talking about. The calmness of the lake coupled with the repetition of the small waves coming to shore makes my heart beat just a little bit slower.
Georgie looks back and me with a huge smile, showing me her newly made pile of sand. She is in heaven here. I can be too for the next 4 days.
